Are you passionate about Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices? We are currently looking for an ESG Specialist to be part of our newly established ESG department. As an ESG Specialist, you will be key in advancing sustainable and ethical business practices within our organization, concentrating on evaluating and improving our performance in environmental impact, social responsibility, and governance practices.
Responsibilities
- Support the development of ESG Reporting processes and Sustainability Report
- Regularly update the existing double-materiality evaluation and assist the ESG Director during external verification of Sustainability Report
- Collaborate in identifying and analyzing ESG risks and opportunities
- Assist in creating the ESG Strategy and collaborate with other departments
- Monitor and assess ESG-related initiatives and policies
- Ensure ESG integration across all areas of the organization by working with other departments
- Prepare reports and presentations on the organization's ESG performance
- Stay informed about ESG trends, regulations, and implement them into the organization
- Participate in updating ESG profiles on ratings and handle inquiries
- Contribute to defining and implementing necessary cross-functional corporate procedures
- Engage with internal and external partners to stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory updates
Requirements
- University Degree in disciplines like environmental science, sustainability studies, finance, economics, business administration, or social sciences
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sustainability projects, organizational sustainability departments, or sustainability consulting firms
- Thorough knowledge of ESG frameworks, standards, and reporting methods; familiar with sustainable investment principles and ESG rating agencies
- Effective communication skills in presenting ESG topics clearly across various levels of the organization
- Strong analytical and IT skills, along with proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Powerpoint, ...)
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a global team
- Strategic thinking and adaptability in resolving issues and handling changing priorities
