Are you a visionary leader ready to drive innovation in the payments industry? We're searching for a dynamic Head of Payments to lead and shape our payment strategies, ensuring seamless, secure, and efficient transactions. In this role, you'll oversee end-to-end payment processes, collaborate with payment service providers, work on optimization of costs and an efficient cost structure, and pioneer solutions that enhance our customer experience and support our growth. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and with over 45 million transactions processed monthly, this role is pivotal in managing significant payment volumes and ensuring efficient payment processes. Your tasks
  • Establishing and maintaining a strong relationship with key partners and stakeholders, including acquiring banks, card schemes, payment networks, POS terminal vendors, and end merchants.
  • Monitor emerging trends, industry developments, regulatory change, and security enhancements across the iGaming payments industry.
  • Liaise with stakeholders on defining requirements for new and innovative functionalities.
  • Optimize success rates of customer purchases and payouts.
  • Monitor and evaluate developments in the global payments ecosystem and their impact on the Payment Service.
  • Build the multi-year and multi-quarter roadmaps & strategy for Payments.
  • Understand, enhance & meet the payment needs for RMG, Social, and Omnichannel verticals.
  • Ensure that cost optimization is achieved, and key targets are set YoY to optimize costs further across brands and overall.
  • Spread the know-how and the awareness with reporting of payments within the organization.
  • Take responsibility to resolve incidents and issues in production.
  • Coordinate with other departments on service delivery.
  • Improve payment approval rates within the area of responsibility.
Your profile
  • Master's degree in Business, Economics, or Accounting.
  • Minimum of +6 years in a financial- or business management role.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • iGaming industry experience is a plus.
  • Very strong interpersonal skills, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
  • English fluency a must, German highly desirable.
  • Sales experience is a plus.
  • Good connections within the payments industry.
  • Proven experience in online product solutions with payment solution providers.
