Could you be the full-time Project Supply Chain Leader (f/m/d) in Vienna, Austria we're looking for?

Your future role

From Vienna to the world: our Viennese site is a global competence center for trams and light rail vehicles. 800 colleagues develop and manufacture the FlexityTM tram for worldwide customers from Austria to Australia. Our product line Rolling Stock & Components offers products from the broadest portfolio in the rail industry. Our innovation focus is on green and smart solutions, including emission-free propulsion systems such as batteries and hydrogen. You'll report to Bianca Wrba (Director Supply Chain, Vienna) and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.

We'll look to you for:

  • Identifies suppliers requiring capacity check and improvement plans. Launch actions with material planners
  • Monitor order placement process prior to order entry into the system. Overlooks that clerical tasks for order creation and entry are done on time, including incoterms & customs clearance
  • Coordinates all internal and external actors of the project to ensure on time placing of the orders
  • Interface with Production Planning to validate Master Production Schedule feasibility based on procurement plans
  • Escalade alerts when major issues in serial phase with suppliers requiring support of Commodities
