Achieves both qualitative andquantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth,revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction.Responsible to identify and develop new sales opportunities. ROLES& RESPONSIBILITIES - CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Sellsproducts/systems/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix,and profitability targets for the assigned divisions.
• Establishesand maintains effective customer relationships to understand theirneeds, promotes their understanding of ABB's completeproduct/systems/ services offering, and aligns with them to providea solution.
• Ensures a positive customer experience throughout thesales process.
• Prepares sales plans using ABB authorized tools.
•Performs regular status reviews and proposes recovery plan(s), incase of any potential order shortfalls.
• Creates added value forthe customer and ABB and ensures the successful outcome oftransactions, contracts, and proposals, by using effective salestechniques.
• Communicates to the customers about the detailsrelated to delivery time, payments, and general terms andconditions, in line with ABB's offering and strategy.
• Ensuresefficient marketing activities and communicates value propositionto customers.
• Identifies and drives the development of new marketopportunities in the designated market.
• Manages administrativeprocedures in sales processes and supports cash collection andproject management activities, when needed.
• Prepares offers incoordination with the bid and proposal department and/or theMarketing Manager.
