Senior Salesforce Functional Analyst

The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Salesforce Functional Analyst to join the CRM Practice team of the IT branch within our Services Division. Your role delivers working and reliable data and software components, continuously assessing the systems to keep abreast of new technologies and applying this knowledge to meet organizational objectives. You will also be overseeing the pipeline of work, prioritizing the changes, and working with the stakeholders to deliver results.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise and best practice guidance to customers and stakeholders, as well as hands-on technical support.
- Work closely with a diverse range of business representatives to manage incidents, issues, pain points, and enhancements.
- Hands-on involvement in developing Salesforce solutions to the agreed requirements and specifications.
- Conduct verification, debugging, and testing in lower environments to deliver a stable and functional application that performs to documented requirements.
- Maintain accurate system bug tracking data and all related systems documents to monitor their compliance with agreed quality standards.
- Work with other teams, internal state government agency teams, and external vendors to coordinate the implementation of changes.
- Work with the governance teams to ensure compliance with industry standards, legislative requirements, and agency policies.
- Manage multiple deployments and releases through CI/CD processes.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 5 years experience as a Functional Analyst within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Demonstrated experience in Services Cloud and Customer experience portals.
- Demonstrated experience in administering Salesforce applications, including account management, data management, and all basic platform configurations.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing configuration-based Salesforce solutions, including UIs, Flows, Customer Experience portals.
- The ability to troubleshoot issues, often requiring tracing through Apex codes and Flows.
- Strong communication and customer support skills, with a can-do attitude.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement with an ability to build quick relationships.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, including branching strategies.
Desirable Qualifications
In addition to the requirements above, the following experiences will strengthen your application:
- Demonstrated experience in the code-level development of Salesforce solutions, including Apex triggers, complex Flows, and REST APIs.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and leading a team.
Contracts will run for 12 months. We have a budget of $1000 p.d. + Super on offer. Our environment is Hybrid, you will spend 2 days per week in our Sydney CBD office.
