We are looking for a Qualified Refrigeration Service Manager who has a proven history in the HVAC industry working throughout the Commercial & Residential sector. 

We are a growing commercial and high-end residential Refrigeration and Mechanical Services company who can provide fantastic opportunities for the right person to grow with us.

We work on a wide range of sites across Melbourne and the surrounding areas, including schools, aged care facilities, apartments, Hotels, office developments, warehouse developments, fit-outs, retail stores and hospitality venues, residence club houses, sports pavilions.

Tasks & responsibilities:

  • Hands on and off Service Manager to co-ordinate the full range of office and site-based functions required to ensure exceptional service delivery to the residential and commercial clients. You must be efficient in managing multiple tasks and a good communicator to both the refrigernation/mech plumbers as well as external customers and suppliers.
  • You will provide quotes & estimates, schedule the jobs, organise materials, ensure compliance and conformity across legislative requirements, safety & quality as well as follow-up, as well as other general day-to-day requirements in the office.
  • You will need to be a strategic thinker who can lead, and inspire others.
  • Broad application of skills varying from hands on HVAC refrigeration/plumbing works to complex problem solving and excellent communication
  • Adhering to OH&S and Tempro Services company standards
  • Processing purchase orders in line with the plan specifications, Australian Standards, and relevant Council legislation.
  • The ability to drive employee productivity and lead staff.
  • Driving profitability and building new business opportunity’s
  • High level of organisational and planning skills, as well as excellent attention to detail
  • Proven leadership and communication capabilities
  • Competent in providing training
  • Strong industry knowledge and connections 
  • Experience with Aroflo (Highly regarded)

Qualifications, experience & skills:

  • Certificate III in Air-conditioning and Refrigeration
  • ARC Licence 
  • VBA registered worker licence 
  • Construction Induction Safety Certificate (White Card)
  • Current driver's licence - and ability to drive a manual vehicle
