These span a range of aspects of the aged care sector ensuring older Australians have equitable access to services by developing and implementing evidence-based policy and program improvements.
Successful candidates will fulfil a range of duties (based on position/s applied for) including contract management, communication, assurance, assessment, data and policy.
Position Duties
• Undertaking contract and stakeholder management activities.
• Analyse, interpret, and evaluate contract management reports.
• Managing funding agreements including milestone reporting payments.
• Work with IT areas to investigate and resolve IT and system related issues.
Program Manager – Correspondence and Communication
• Prepare responses to Ministerial correspondence and co-ordination requests.
• Liaise with other areas of the department in relation to client privacy breach escalations.
• Information and Freedom of Information (FOI) requests and investigate and respond to assessment related complaints.
• Distribution of assessment related updates and advice to the assessment workforce.
• Developing and maintaining assurance procedures and manuals to support the conduct of quality assurance activities.
• Ongoing monitoring and reporting to ensure implemented assurance measures are effective in verifying the quality of assessments undertaken.
• Developing and implementing a stakeholder and communications strategy.
Policy Manager
• Manage procurement and/or negotiation processes. This includes drafting, reviewing and finalising key documentation, liaising with internal and external advisors for specialist advice and participating in negotiations processes.
• Contribute to the development of workforce transition planning activities and other activities to support the introduction of the single assessment workforce.
• Developing Assessment relevant operational policy and program advice. Developing and implementing initiatives to drive improvements in assessment performance and quality.
Data Manager
• Extract, analyse, interpret, and evaluate information including existing policy to deliver operational activities.
• Contribute to quality improvement activities.
• Lead project management and co-ordination activities, contract management, procurement and market research, and stakeholder engagement.
• Provide advice, procedural guidance and technical expertise in specific areas of the project work, support stakeholder engagement and coordinate briefings and workshops.
