Our client is looking for anE&I Commissioning Supervisorto join their siteteam on Western Range. On offer is a 2 and 1 rotation from Perth for an initial 12 month cntract
The role responsibilities include:

• Coordinate Electrical & Instrumentation commissioning preparation and activities for all E&I scope of work.
• Write and give input to the creation of E&I Commissioning Procedures.
• Safely supervise all personnel engaged in E&I commissioning activities inclusive of vendor, contractor, and operations personnel.
• Conduct pre-commissioning checks inspections and tests on electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Ensure all work is performed to Australian Standard, Legislation and project standards.
• Ensure Project Completion System CCMS is maintained and up to date for all E&I scope.
• Provide input into planning and all required reports.
• Ensure all changes and modifications made are controlled and are advised to the As-built control procedures.

What you’ll have

• Must have experience as an E&I Supervisor with relevant experience in commissioning.
• Commissioning on mining projects background working on electrical and instrumentation equipment / scopes.
• Solid experience in Commissioning preferably on construction projects.
• Prior experience working on RTIO sites
• Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems, Codes and Standards.
• EEHA (Electrical Equipment Hazardous Areas) is essential.
• Construction White/Blue Card.
• Current C Class Drivers Licence.
• Strong people management and leadership experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Key Accountabilities

• Design and deliver Electrical systems for Heavy Industry Mobile Equipment (HME) and Rail Development projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner.
• Contribute to design reviews and validation of various engineering designs and associated component selection suitable for application.
• Providing technical guidance on all Electrical Engineering Systems related to works being carried out, ensuring compliance to relevant standards.
• Develop technical specifications and scopes of work to meet project specific objectives.

As aPrincipal Electrical Designer,you will be focusing onthe primary purpose of this role is to drive and deliver safe and sustainable electrical design on a for various sustaining capital projects. Large component of the scopes will have brownfield elements; strong design capabilities on brownfield projects is key.
The successful candidate is expected to be able to lead and coordinate the design deliverables, coordinate work amongst the team, ensure technical integrity of the deliverables and conduct work in line with company procedures. Not all roles on the project will require the individual to work in a lead capacity however ability to quality check and sign off on deliverables on behalf of the discipline is necessary.
Proven discipline project lead experience on brownfield projects is highly preferred.

Provide technical direction, control and supervision for design on the project. Deliver the discipline’s design deliverables within schedule and budget. Manage quality and consistency within the discipline. Coordinate change control and technical query process within the discipline. Manage discipline resources assigned to the project. Report progress of discipline deliverables. Resolve discipline technical issues. Maintain discipline task and deliverables lists for the project. Coordinate design with other disciplines and squad checking deliverables. • A recognised design qualification (Advanced Diploma) in the relevant discipline or recognised Electrical trade qualification.
• A decent relevant experience in designing and drafting with promising experience recently in resources (or closely allied) industry, BP preferred.
• Proven lead role experience managing designers on multiple brownfield resources projects.

Essential:

• Experienced, competent user of AutoCAD, Microstation (2D & 3D).
• Competent in the use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite, PDF Exchange, Bluebeam.
• Selection of electrical equipment (lighting & small power, control & wiring devices, enclosures).
• Proven experience in designing electrical deliverables such as:

Single line diagrams – HV and LV Three-line Diagrams Schematics for panels such as incomers, feeders, VSDs and motor starters. Cable schedules. Material takes offs / BoM. Electrical equipment layouts. Switchroom layouts. Earthing layouts. Earthing diagrams. Key interlocking diagrams. Primary and secondary schematics. Termination diagrams. Panel general arrangements. Lighting and Small Power layouts. Preferred:

• AVEVA 3D modelling packages, (PDMS, E3D).
• Hazard area layouts.
