Human Resources Business Partner

You will focus on providing trusted and accurate advice, partnering with business leaders at various levels and have a collaborative mindset. This position will play a key role in supporting our operations and would suit a friendly, hands-on, positive, and motivated individual who understands the value of people in a business. Based in Brisbane you would be supporting our regions remotely.

The Opportunity:

  • Partner closely with managers and supervisors providing proactive support in all aspects of people and operations
  • Work to establishment and embed core processes within a growing business focusing on adding value
  • Manage the employee life cycle and provide end to end service around core people functions
  • Influence, support and educate leaders with regards to systems, processes and procedures ensuring 'fit for purpose'
  • Proactively analyse and monitor organisational issues - identifying risks, working effectively with members of the management team to recommend innovative practical solutions

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a HR Advisor or similar function
  • Exposure to Transport Industry highly regarded
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources would be advantageous but not required
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to mentor those around you
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to build relationships at all levels of the business
  • Ability to have difficult conversation and possess well-developed consulting and influencing skills in order to implement change
  • Be someone who thrives in a busy, fast paced environment that requires you to juggle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
