The Planner is responsible for the successful delivery experience of our concrete customers. Our Planners work to ensure the customer is fully aware and updated during the delivery journey and is responsible for ticketing loads to relevant fleet. This role is pivotal to ensuring maximum fleet effectiveness while providing a great customer experience.

Your day will involve: 

• Maintain and promote a healthy working environment and adhere to all BORAL policies and procedure
• Contribute to the profitability of Boral through the efficient allocation of testers to customer orders
• Plan and schedule work appropriately to meet customer requirements
• Keep customers updated proactively during their delivery – work to resolve problems as they arise.
• Maximum fleet runs to ensure optimal truck turns and full barrels
• Be conduit between site coordinator and customer to ensure efficient allocation of fleet – to minimise impact to truck turns or waiting time.

What are we looking for?

• Experience working in a very fast paced, ever changing allocations environment
• Previous logistics and/or scheduling experience is desirable
• Proven experience working in a fast-paced call centre environment
• Previous customer focused roles
• Strong attention to detail
• Stakeholder communication and engagement
