The Sourcing Manager (Technology Services) role sits within the Global Technology Procurement team and is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of strategic sourcing initiatives within the Technology Professional Services Category at ANZ. This role will help shape the future of this portfolio across the bank and will drive and deliver commercial value by developing strategic sourcing strategies that are in line with the overall category strategy and aligned to business priorities; delivering value over short, medium and long term horizons.
You will create value by bringing data driven insights, commercial though leadership, developing adaptive procurement solutions, identifying new sourcing opportunities and helping our business leverage external capability through our technology supplier ecosystem.

Role Type: Multiple Permanent, Full-time roles available - job level will depend on the experience and qualifications of the successful candidate.
What will you bring?To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
Significant commercial experience in negotiating complex contracting strategies within a Technology and/or professional services context.
Understanding of the supply base (national/regional/global) and the competitive forces of the supply market within the Technology Professional Services market.
Experience in developing strategic sourcing strategies that deliver commercial value and benefits for the business; expertise in executing end-to-end sourcing process, including setting the sourcing strategy, executing the appropriate due diligence required, conducting market/supplier analysis, price benchmarking and conducting negotiations.
Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external business stakeholders in order to facilitate sourcing outcomes; and ability to influence decision making at all levels of the organization.
Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships, becoming a highly trusted business partner, sourcing manager, commercial and market expert.
Pursue commercial excellence through continuous improvement to support the achievement of Procurement and Business targets and demand savings opportunities.
Experience in collaborating across diverse teams, acts as a mentor and coach to junior team members; a strong communicator, stakeholder and relationship management capability, with high level of commercial acumen and strong negotiations skills
Understanding supply market dynamics, Third Party Risk and Regulatory requirements, external leading practice, market trends relevant to spend areas
Experience in working within the banking industry or similar financial institution.
