About the Role:
Reporting to the Control and Optimisation Manager, the role will ensure contractual compliance, optimizes service delivery, and manages client relationships for the operations of their flagship wind farm, the Macintyre Wind Farm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and follow HSEQ policies and legislative requirements.
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
- Advise on contractual matters and guide teams.
- Oversee facility management and maintenance services to meet standards and expectations.
- MManage client and stakeholder relationships
- Identify and mitigate operational, financial, and compliance risks.
- Manage contract finances including budgeting and cost control.
- Report financial performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop and implement contractual and commercial processes.
- Ensure processes align with company and contractual standards.
- Contribute to long-term planning for wind farm management and operations.
- Develop strategies for contract performance and service delivery improvement.
- Work with various departments to ensure successful contract delivery.
- Prepare and present reports on contract performance.
- Maintain accurate documentation of contractual and operational matters.
- Tertiary degree in Business Management, Commerce, or Engineering.
- 10+ years in commercial and contracts management.
- Energy sector experience preferred, especially in technical asset management or O&M within renewable energy.
- Knowledge of operations and maintenance cycles for major engineering assets.
- Experience managing complex contracts, preferably in a JV environment.
- Proven ability to influence senior management and communicate complex issues.
- Understanding of cost accounting, budgeting, and contract implementation.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; ERP (e.g., SAP) or CMMS (e.g., Maximo) experience is a plus.
