About the Opportunity

The primary objective of this position is to provide specialist technical support, system analysis and implement improvements for a complex software system consisting of SQL database, Mulesoft integration layer, COTS software, and custom software applications. The analyst will work within the ANCO support team to ensure that the system is running smoothly and efficiently, resolving complex issues that may arise, and continuously improving the system's functionality and performance.

  • Specialist back-end solution development and maintenance.
  • Maintain an understanding of the solution architecture.
  • Reviewing overall system health & performance of the solution.
  • Supervision and coordination of external personnel in the delivery of key responsibilities and accountabilities.
  • Document adds, changes, deletes for any system changes.
  • Ensure compliance with ARTC's Safety Management System (SMS) requirements, responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with S&T's policies and procedures.



About You

To ensure success in this position, applicants will be able to demonstrate:

  • Hold tertiary qualifications in Software Engineering or a related discipline or have relevant industry experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in back-end software development and experience in at least one of the desired programming languages.
  • Demonstrated, relevant and significant experience in design, maintenance, implementation, testing and documentation of a holistic bespoke solution, comprising of multiple highly complex interconnected systems and technologies.
  • Software solution architecture design and integration principles.
  • Possess proven skills in data analysis and problem-solving.
  • Demonstrate good communication, organisational skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business needs.
