About Our Client
ABC Licence Training, trading as ABC First Aid, is a prestigious Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that has been instrumental in promoting health and safety across Australia since 1997. The organisation is dedicated to delivering high-quality first aid training courses to a diverse community of students, ranging from individuals to large corporate groups. ABC First Aid simplifies the enrolment process and caters effectively to the training needs of large groups, making it a preferred choice for companies looking to train their employees.
As ABC First Aid continues to expand its reach and impact, there is a growing need to strategically develop new markets and strengthen existing relationships to support the health and safety mission across more Australian communities. The organisation seeks to hire a Business Development Manager (BDM) who can spearhead these initiatives, focusing on expanding client bases, enhancing partnerships, and ultimately increasing the accessibility and enrolment in their training courses.
Job Description
- Develop and execute innovative sales strategies that align with our organisational goals and adapt to market demands.
- Sell training courses (First Aid, Safety & Community Service + others) to a diverse range of clients, including corporate entities, educational institutions, and individuals. This includes actively seeking established and upcoming training partners to join ABC.
- Forge and maintain robust relationships with a variety of stakeholders including educational bodies, corporate clients, and community groups.
- Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the training and development industry.
- Effectively communicate the value of first aid training and persuade potential clients of its critical role in safety and compliance.
- Manage multiple projects and initiatives, ensuring they are delivered efficiently and have a significant impact.

- Strategic Vision: Demonstrated ability to craft and implement comprehensive sales plans.
- Relationship Building: Proven track record in establishing and nurturing lasting relationships.
- Market Acumen: Deep insights into the training and development sector with a knack for spotting emerging trends.
- Communication and Persuasion Skills: Outstanding ability to articulate ideas and motivate others towards a common goal.
- Organisational Skills: Competent in handling various tasks with precision and effectiveness.
- Passion for Education and Safety: Strong dedication to promoting community health and safety through educational initiatives
- Digital Marketing Proficiency: Experience or knowledge in digital marketing, particularly with SEO, Google Ads, and website advisory. Ability to offer guidance on digital marketing strategies during quarterly business health check-ins with partners, aiding them in enhancing their online presence and client acquisition.
