National Sales and Marketing Manager

Floorex is an Australian-owned and operated Business, with over 25 years in the industry that manufactures, imports and sells machines and equipment to the Concrete Floor Preparation Industry.
We have showrooms in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Swan Hill & Auckland NZ and the successful candidate will interact with all Sales Staff from all locations.
The position carries high levels of trust and provides excellent prospects for anyone who is dynamic and ready to put everything into making the position both enjoyable and rewarding for yourself.

ABOUT THE ROLEWe have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager to join our growing team The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a demonstrated track record in driving sales and marketing initiatives, as well as increasing revenue and company visibility. The main focus of the role will be to drive sales, increase client retention and revenue, and manage a team of sales professionals.
***Job Location: We are open for the successful candidate to be located in either of our Victorian-based sites below:
- Springvale, VIC
- Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies.
- Become the custodian of our brand by overseeing the organisation’s marketing activities.
- Proactively reviewing sales and marketing activities. Ensuring stakeholder performance at a staff, branch and vendor level.
- Conducting regular performance review meetings with staff to establish productive working relationships and to implement corrective actions when required.
- Monitor competitor activities and make necessary adjustments to the strategies.
- Proactively identify new business opportunities within the respective client base.
- Maintain relationships with key account customers to ensure key decision-makers are identified and engaged.
- Developing and presenting core range offerings, compelling value propositions and actioning new product and promotional opportunities
- Coordinate, manage and participate in industry trade events.
- Actively train and mentor sales and marketing team members. Utilising internal and external resources as needed.
- Provide the business with regular Sales and Marketing team performance analysis and insights.
- Minimum 5 years experience in managing marketing and sales teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field.
- Proficiency with online marketing and social media strategy.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong commercial acumen with a problem-solving mindset.
- Energetic and target-driven.
- Ability to create and maintain strong customer relationships at all levels
- Humility: you will define success collectively and not individually. There is no room for big egos or single concerns about status.
- Driven: you will have a strong work ethic and be determined to get things done. Be responsible, self-motivated, and diligent.
