Prince Alfred College a leading independent day and boarding school for boys from ELC to Year 12 based in Adelaide, SA. With a significant history in providing an exceptional education, the College is poised to embark on an ambitious campus redevelopment, in line with the launch of a new strategic plan. The position of Project Manager is a unique opportunity to oversee the planning and delivery of building programs across an iconic landmark and to make a lasting impact on the learning outcomes for future generations.
Working closely with the College Executive and Infrastructure Committee of Council, the Project Manager will be accountable for overseeing the planning, design, construction and commissioning of various construction projects. The position will partner with architects, engineers, contractors and key internal stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the high standards expected by the College.
The Project Manager will also provide support for, and plan for, future capital development as part of the continual review of the College Master Plan and the College’s facilities in general.
With a successful background in commercial project management, applicants will bring significant experience in both strategic planning for, and successful delivery of, building projects. They will demonstrate the ability to concurrently manage multiple projects and stakeholder groups. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, a customer-centric approach and the ability to effectively distil complex information to inform decision making will also be key.
