We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our busy team. Vision Design Metal Fabrication is located Bibra Lake completing projects in Structural Steel, Architectural Metalwork, Sheetmetal works, Services/Repairs and custom metal works with a variety of projects large and small. With our recent expansion with another workshop/office in Yangebup, we are looking for an Office based Project Manager to join our team working alongside our Director and Site based Project Manager.

The position is responsible for planning and overseeing projects, from the initial ideation through to completion. Coordinate people and processes to deliver projects on time, within budget and with the desired outcomes aligned to objectives.

Core objectives include: 

  • agreeing project objectives
  • representing the client's or organisation's interests
  • providing advice on the management of projects
  • organising the various professional people working on a project
  • carrying out risk assessment
  • making sure that all the aims of the project are met
  • making sure the quality standards are met
  • using IT systems to keep track of people and progress
  • recruiting specialists and sub-contractors
  • monitoring sub-contractors to ensure guidelines are maintained
  • overseeing the accounting, costing and billing
  • Prepare Safe Work Method Statements

Minimum 10 years’ experience in steel/ metalwork Project Management, Fabrication and construction costing and estimating Strong risk management experience with the ability to assist in evaluating identified risks/ opportunities and development of agreed strategies and management plans to mitigate risk.

Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint essential. Clean driving licence essential. Salary based on experience and qualifications.
