We have a rare opportunity for a Project Manager to join a healthy culture and positive environment here at Nilsen WA with an immediate start. We currently have a healthy pipeline and secured work, we are looking for someone that has a good reputation, ready to add to a good culture and can hit the ground running with a positive ‘can do attitude’. Nilsen have a strong focus on mentoring and support, development is also offered to the right candidate including formal training and recognition with external training organisations.

Reporting regularly to the Division Manager, you will be responsible for leading your teams with the successful management and financial outcome of allocated projects. Current exciting projects range across the electrical industry including Commercial, Government and Healthcare sectors with a strong customer focus with trusted clients.

This involves leading and resourcing the team, effective communications of project milestones and risk mitigation, key stakeholder management, effective utilisation of resources and process improvement. This role is pivotal in ensuring projects are on track and meeting agreed timelines and financial targets.

  • Large scale electrical, commercial based project management
  • Electrical Trade or Engineering qualification
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to lead teams, coach and motivate others
  • Proven proactive management style with the capacity to improve business processes
  • Ability to prioritise and make independent decisions
  • Well developed analytical, financial management and problem solving skills
  • Well developed collaborative working style
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including negotiation, consultation, influencing and conflict resolution skills
  • A demonstrated commitment to safety and with a well-developed understanding of safety KPI’s
