The purpose of this role is to support the business by developing and maintaining reporting and analyst solutions for the business. This role will:

  • Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of business intelligence platform and technologies to enable effective integration and utilisation of enterprise data and data models.
  • Maintain the data load and integration platform and processes.
  • Develop, maintain and document business rules in reporting that are driven by outcome and goals.
  • Seek and propose new solutions and approaches to meet the reporting, budget and analysis needs of the Gallagher national business
  • Contribute and support business improvements and change initiatives and projects
  • Coach other members of the team

This is a great opportunity and to be considered, we are seeking a min of 7 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally with exposure to the Insurance or Financial Services industry plus:

  • Exposure to different types of data warehouses, data lakes
  • Strong knowledge of Transactional SQL, Microsoft SQL Server 14, and Oracle SQL
  • Strong DWH experience
  • Experience with Microsoft stack
  • ETL development SSIS
  • Report building SSRS & mobile reporting; Power BI, DAX
  • Data modelling – SSAS
  • Visual Studio SSDT
  • Source control applications TFS, GIT etc.
  • Experience in scripting in python powershell and attunity connector desirable
  • Tertiary qualifications in IT, Business, Finance
