As a Business Development Manager at Carbiz, you will be responsible for building and fostering strategic relationships with our prospective clients and stakeholders within the Adelaide region. This is a great opportunity for those looking to further their career in sales within a dynamic, award-winning team with uncapped earning potential

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Head of Sales, Business Development Executives and Partnership Success Managers to identify, target, and develop new relationships within your allocated geographical area.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Schedule and conduct face-to-face meetings with clients within your geographical location.
  • Inform and educate referrers on initiatives, procedures, and points of difference.
  • Log detailed activity, visits, and relevant commentary to ensure accurate reporting and review of business.
  • Manage new clients and ensure a seamless handover to Partnership Success Managers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to anticipate new business opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Over 3+ years of experience in face-to-face/field-based Sales, Account Management or Business Development preferred but not essential (we hire based on attitude).
  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel locally as required (Essential).
  • Proven experience fostering long-term relationships and service with customers and/or clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal and partnership-building skills.
  • Well-developed verbal communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
  • A positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to assist team members to ensure excellent customer service delivery.
