Your contribution:
  1. Support the provision of comprehensive, accurate and timely advice relating to agreement making, Native Title and Cultural Heritage legislation, policy.
  2. Provide project management support to agreement making for the Department.
  3. Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with key Departmental and governmental bodies and individuals with expertise in agreement making, Native Title and Cultural Heritage legislation and policy.
  4. Assist in the preparation and/or coordination of briefing notes, program plans, submissions, reports and correspondence associated with the program and projects.

About you
  • Supports strategic direction and demonstrates an ability to develop options to resolve agreement making issues.
  • Achieves results, including an ability to effectively manage projects and achieve outcomes on time and within budget.
  • Engages in and maintains productive working relationships with First Nations people and other Government agencies.
  • Communicates confidently and demonstrates the ability to effectively communicate.
  • Demonstrates a sound knowledge of project management, agreement making support and Native Title and Cultural Heritage legislation, policies and procedures as it applies to the work of the Department.
