As a Senior Project Officer in the City Deals Team in the Strategy, Insights and Advisory group you will contribute to portfolio management; including reporting, stakeholder engagement, project delivery and data analysis on the progression of commitments under City Deals on behalf of the Queensland Government. You will also contribute to the coordination, portfolio oversight and administration functions of City Deals.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Senior Project Officer to join our team who will:

· Contribute to a variety of City Deals and infrastructure programs and projects to meet objectives for progressing portfolio delivery.
· Coordinate and maintain day to day portfolio management, including data collection and reporting tools to analyse and present complex information accurately, clearly and compellingly for a range of audiences.
· Coordinate the scheduling, preparation and presentation of information for City Deal programs and governance.
· Contribute to documentation including correspondence, cabinet submissions, briefs, presentations, and reports on complex and sensitive issues for the delivery of projects.
· Support stakeholder engagement including industry, councils, the federal government, and other state agencies.
· Co-ordinate appropriate project management and reporting systems and identify opportunities for improvement which will add value to the business needs.
· Perform accurate document and record management activities, including hard copy and electronic file management of project information.
· Support a team environment that values performance, superior client service and a shared purpose. You will contribute to a strong team culture, continuous improvement of team processes, and innovative solutions to program delivery.

The duties detailed above are indicative of the activities and experiences of the role that support your ongoing growth and development within the department. You may be required to perform a range of tasks that are outside your main list of duties, but are within the limits of your skill, competency and training, or are incidental and peripheral to your main duties.
