Fusion5 is now seeking a Director of Professional Services to play a crucial role in overseeing the delivery of Fusion5’s professional services to clients, while ensuring strategic growth and operational efficiency of Fusion5’s Professional Services team.
This role will bring years of experience at Senior Management level in a Business Applications professional services organisation of between 500-1200 people. Experience brought to bear will include effective management of P&L responsibility for delivery, forecasting and resource optimisation, utilisation, and successful track record of Executive, Steering Committee, and Escalation roles in large mid-market and enterprise business application projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Commercial responsibility for Fusion5 projects, estimations, proposals and Statements of Work
- Project and program oversight and engagement at an executive level, including Executive Sponsor and Senior Supplier duties on key strategic projects
- Continuous innovation ensuring methodologies, processes and practices adapt to new technologies and ways of working
- Escalation point, strategist and negotiation for large, strategic, and or complex projects and issues, ensuring that issues and contracts are successfully negotiated
- Key Fusion5 professional services representative in the sales process for large and strategic deals, providing confidence to clients about Fusion5’s delivery capabilities
- Direct and promote collaboration with sales, pillars, and marketing teams to identify opportunities for business growth, including upselling and cross-selling services to existing clients and acquiring new clients
- Contribution to development and execution of strategic planning for Fusion5 to drive growth and profitability
- Drive delivery quality, consistency and operational excellence across Fusion5’s diverse consulting practices
- Foster collaboration across all of Fusion5 practices and centres of excellence such that our clients experience consistent quality and success, regardless of practice or product.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- 10 years minimum in Senior Management in Professional Services in IT Consulting
- Extensive experience in PMO / Program Leadership
- Sound understanding of Professional Service Practice Management Principles
- Extensive experience building process, tools and teams in a large, dynamic professional services environment
- Extensive experience in a role handling project escalations and client facing negotiations
- Excellent people and negotiation skills.
