Day to day:
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define program and project requirements, objectives, and success criteria
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment throughout the program lifecycle
- Develop and maintain comprehensive program plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocations
- Line management of regional project managers and other project team resources
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of projects within the regions, ensuring they are completed within defined scope, timelines, and budget parameters
- Collaborate proactively with product, technology and wider business teams to identify and mitigate risks, escalating issues as necessary
- Regularly monitor and report project progress to senior management and stakeholders
- Identify and assess potential risks and issues that may impact program delivery
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful program outcomes
- Work closely with resource managers to allocate and optimize resources based on program priorities and requirements
- Monitor resource utilisation and adjust plans as needed to address changing circumstances
- Provide visionary leadership, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for the project teams
- Establish clear performance metrics and goals, conducting regular reviews and providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the growing global PMO function and best practices, including deploying and adhering to new standards and ways of working
You'll be perfect for the role if you have:
- Prior experience in a matrixed global role
- 7+ years in transformational change managing programs and/ or projects contributing to strategic goals
- Demonstrable, hands-on experience of: Successful delivery of $500k -$5M+ projects and programs of work
- Project and Program delivery methodologies and best practices
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, including strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Managing Successful Programs, SaFE and P30 or equivalent certification
