Tradeware is searching for an experienced Category Manager to lead our dynamic brand and product strategies, driving profitable and sustainable growth for our business.

Your Role
This position is perfect for a leader who thrives on making impactful decisions and driving significant business outcomes. As a Category Manager, you will:
- Develop and execute innovative category, product, and pricing strategies to expand market share and enhance profitability.
- Manage supplier relationships, fostering the development of productive and strategic partnerships.
- Lead and mentor your direct report, working together with your Product Manager to effectively develop and launch new products to market.
- Collaborate with teams from Executive, Key Account Management, Sales, Marketing, Inventory, and Finance to achieve cohesive end-to-end outcomes.
- Lead our budget planning cycle, perform category and product reviews, and manage new product development and compliance.
- Drive market research initiatives, defining channel offerings, distribution plans, and customer value propositions.
- Influence marketing strategy and support Key Account Managers with data-driven insights and compelling sales pitches.
What You Bring
An ideal candidate will have:
- Proven expertise in Category Management with a strong track record of portfolio performance.
- Exceptional financial acumen, adept with budgeting, cost management, and pricing strategy.
- Robust project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking, combined with influential communication skills.
- A passion for growth and performance
- Desired: Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and experience in Paint and Cleaning categories.
