The role
In this role, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and maintaining the new business portfolio for our Manheim Australia’s Industrial division. You may also look after the existing clients within Queensland and Northen NSW. With a focus on achieving specific objectives and key performance indicators, you will leverage your in-depth knowledge of our products and services to increase sales and revenue. This is a permanent full-time position that offers a competitive salary, vehicle, and commission-based structure.
As Manheim’s BDM, you will be on the road, developing relationships with key people in the automotive industry and clients in various market sectors. With the main focus of the business growth and providing excellent service to our customers. To be successful for this role, you will be located in either Queensland and Northen NSW, preferably Darling Downs.
Responsibilities:
- Positively embrace field support tools and provide input to ongoing market analysis to develop sales and marketing effectiveness
- Prospect and account manage new business opportunities to meet targets and objectives
- Proactively assess customer needs and coordinate Manheim team members to meet account performance objectives and customer expectations
- Provide feedback to support product and services enhancement, engage in performance development tools, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
Skills & Experience:
- Experience in the Agricultural industry preferable, not essential
- Experience in a similar role in a medium to large organisation
- Ability to build relationships
- Strong communication and decision-making skills
- Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Intermediate working knowledge of SAP, Salesforce or other CRM system would be desirable
