A global multi-boutique asset management business offering an extensive range of specialist investment capabilities through seven boutiques and brands in key regions globally. Within Australia, Perpetual and Pendal have a broad range of capabilities across Australian and global equities, credit, fixed income, multi-asset and ESG. We have a growing presence in the US, UK and Europe through our brands Barrow Hanley, Trillium, JO Hambro, Regnan and TSW.

The role of Senior Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis is focused on leading and managing a team to deliver value via forecasting and annual business plan for Asset Management Australia and effective decision support to the business and leaders.

About the role

  • Hands on ownership of forecast and budgeting process including key stakeholder management (business, boutiques, CEO/CFO), forecast models, and delivering insights as a trusted advisor
  • Partner with the business to gain insights, forecast, and track performance against plan.
  • Collaborate with financial control function with respect to cost allocations, accruals/provisions, tracking and analysis of actuals vs forecast and plan.
  • Drive financial system integration and development to support a trusted FP&A function.
  • Provide key business decision support and business case analysis as required.
  • Provide finance ownership of all variable reward schemes

About you

  • Accounting, Finance or Business Degree and CA/CPA preferred
  • 8+ years experience, with sound knowledge of financial accounting, and strong knowledge of management reporting, cost management, and financial planning & budgeting processes
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Asset Management industry experience preferred
