Service Administrator (Maternity Leave) - Melbourne

Our client is a leader in providing forklifts and elevated work platform equipment to their clients across Australia. Due to a team member going on maternity leave, they are seeking an experienced service administrator to support their service division.

As a Service Administrator (Mat Leave Cover), your main responsibility is to provide essential support to the Administration staff, ensuring smooth coordination of customer bookings and scheduling inquiries with the relevant team members and customers.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with the team to communicate progress reports to customers throughout the day.
  • Assist in arranging service booking calls for customers and rental machines.
  • Aid in scheduling and coordinating technicians for customer service calls.
  • Contribute to maintaining the database, ensuring timely input of new customers into the computer database.
  • Support the processing of invoices, ensuring they are generated accurately and promptly following the Company procedures manual.

About You:

  • Certificate II and III in Business Administration would be advantageous.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence with a proactive approach.
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Computer literate with excellent data and typing skills.
  • Team player with general office and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail in all tasks.
  • Professional presentation and telephone manner.
