KYC Training and Capability Analyst

This role is an opportunity for those seeking to gain valuable experience in customer identification (Applicable Customer Identification Procedures (ACIP) and Know Your Customer (KYC) at onboarding for non-individual customers - which underpins Suncorp's obligation to Protecting Our Customers. This will also include maintaining and enhancing KYC compliance practices including supporting 1 st LoD engagement in projects and independent reviews.

The KYC Training and Capability Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting our organisation's efforts to ensure compliance with KYC regulations and drive operational excellence. This position will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs, change management strategies, and process improvements for both frontline bankers and KYC Operations (Centre of Excellence).

What you'll do:

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify training needs and requirements related to KYC compliance.
  • Collaborate with Learning & Development teams in the design, development and delivery of training materials for employees involved in KYC processes and create and deliver onboarding KYC curriculum
  • Work with cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements that streamline KYC procedures while maintaining compliance.
  • Stay updated on evolving KYC regulations and industry best practices
  • Drive and maintain highly engaged stakeholder relations, including compliance, operations and technology to ensure a coordinated approach to KYC

What you'll bring:
  • Qualifications in Learning & Development, Training and Assessment or similar discipline.
  • 3+ years' experience banking and financial services within AML/CTF function
  • Strong knowledge of KYC regulations and AML requirements, ensuring compliance and efficiency
  • Exceptional prowess in managing stakeholders, fostering collaborations and maintaining strong relationships
  • High level strategic mindset, adept in planning and executing initiatives with a keen commercial edge, analytical prowess and impactful presentation skills
