An outstanding opportunity to join a leading insurer in a key leadership role, managing a team of public/injury liability claims professionals.

About The Role:
  • Your strong management experience will be used to uplift team capability, supporting and coaching staff in complex claims management
  • Ensuring the team works in the clients' best interest
  • Providing a culture of openness and team spirit, ensuring all colleagues feel supported
  • Discussing team strategic and financial goals to drive a high-performing culture
  • Holding team meetings and 1:1's to support the team and discuss any challenges
  • Ensuring that the customer-focused culture is part of the daily work and communication
  • Overseeing quality and implementing any strategies needed for improvement
  • Looking at technical claims decisions and reserves
  • Using data to identify claims trends and introduce ideas to reduce claims costs

About Your Experience:
  • Working within a similar environment at a senior level, with leadership experience
  • Indepth understanding of public/injury liability claims at a technical level
  • Demonstrated experience in coaching and mentoring as well as improving team results
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, as there will be regular interaction with legal, risk, service providers, brokers and underwriters, both internal and external
  • Used to negotiating fair outcomes in a constructive style
