Ausgrid is on an exciting transformation journey and now is the time to be a part of something big. We are proud to service Australia’s east coast, as a leading business in energy distribution, delivering a safe and reliable electricity supply to more than 1.8 million homes – that’s over four million Australians relying on us every day.

Our vision is simple; for our communities to have the power for a resilient, affordable net zero future.

We take pride in knowing that the work we collectively achieve today, will transform the world tomorrow. We value a culture of working and living safely, being customer focussed, commercially minded, collaborative, honest, accountable, and respectful. Our values are not just initiatives driven by leaders; they define the way we work.

Your new role

As the Property Transaction Officer reporting to the Property Operations & Reporting Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of ongoing reporting and portfolio transaction management for the Property Team. You will have a key focus on end-to-end SAP processing, property leasing, tenant management and stakeholder engagement.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will be to:

  • Manage internal and external tenant discussions, rental reviews, and escalations as well as manage contracts and supplier activities.
  • Coordinate procurement, document management, property information, contractor obligations, accounting principles for the Property team including raising purchase orders in SAP and receipting of invoices for both Ausgrid and Aurora.
  • Maintain the Foreign Investment Review Board (FIRB) reporting register and upload details in the portal as required to ensure compliance with our reporting obligations.
  • Maintain accurate records of property transactions, update property information, link documents, enter property maintenance, and statutory costs.
  • Manage tenant debt, follow up on outstanding payments, and complete end-of-month debtor reconciliation, including aged debtor’s report.
  • Develop and manage monthly reports: rental reconciliations, accruals, budget, and forecast reports for Ausgrid and Aurora.
  • Undertake the processing and recording of data for the Property Portfolio in the Property Management Information System (PMIS), including but not limited to the updating of property agreements and lease terms, monthly billing of services and external tenants.
