The position of ClinicalSpecialist, Electrophysiology (EP)/Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM), providesfield/remote clinical, technical & educational support in EP and CRM toassigned accounts across ANZ. The primary focus is to support new therapyintroduction of Pulsed Field Ablation through our recent launch of the FARAPULSE system,demonstrating clinical expertise to influence superior outcomes. Frequenttravel will be required as part of the role.

WHAT WILL YOU BE REPONSIBLE FOR?

• Utilising your technical knowledge of:
  • field clinical support, which includespatient interactions of patient education, programming of Boston CRM devicesand patient follow up, plus technical/application and education support,site management and coordination.
  • The field of electrophysiology (including propagationof electrical circuits within cardiac tissue and the pathophysiology ofelectrical rhythm disorders), biophysics of radiofrequency, cryo-thermal ablation,2D and 3D electroanatomical mapping principles to provide:
    • Clinical support including basictrouble-shooting, and clinical guidance to diagnose and treat cardiacarrhythmias
    • Provide the measurement of electricalcircuits within the heart and perform stimulation protocols as perphysician requests to measure the electrical conductivity of the heartto aid in the diagnosis of cardiac arrhythmias
    • Develop a deep technical understanding of, andprovide the technical training of company products to CardiacElectrophysiologists, Cardiac Physiologists and Nurses
• Travelling as required to meet customer demandfor the services described above.
• Attending cases face to face (or remotely)with customers, operating Boston Scientific products where appropriate,and providing detailed training / advice to physicians on clinicalattributes / techniques associated with Boston Scientificelectrophysiology products including:
  • Providing clinical support for: FARAPULSE,POLARx, RHYTHMIA, LAB SYSTEM PRO, MAESTRO 4000, METRIQ, plus supportfor the full range of Boston Scientific EP Catheters
• Developing deep understanding on the workflowsand specificities of each hospital & business relationships withhospital personnel (e.g., through informal conversation, meetings,participation in conferences) to make new contacts in other departmentswithin hospital and all stakeholders to ensure that products are trainedand utilised in accordance with the Directions for Use.
• Ensuring timely collection, reporting of allrequired medical documentation pertaining to our procedural deviceoperation.
• Responding to complex customer needs andcomplaints regarding products and service by developing creative andfeasible solutions or working with other related personnel (e.g., sales,clinical, research, marketing, technical support) to develop optimalsolutions.
• Recording customer information and activitiesin company’s CRM system: use the system as an alignment tool with othercommercial roles.
• Completion of relevant administrationincluding reporting, stock validations and inventory management
• Attending meetings, conferences andexhibitions as required to promote Boston Scientific products andservices.
• Being available to support the broader ANZRhythm Management business on an as-needs basis

·A thorough understanding of PulsedField Ablation (Pulsed Direct Current) on cardiac tissue and a biophysicalunderstanding of tissue selectivity

·Develop in depth knowledge of electrophysiologyprocedure, products and treatment applications.

·Previous clinical case experiencewithin electrophysiology / rhythm management essential

·Strong technical and clinical skills

·Proven experience in building andmaintaining customer relationships.

·Proven ability to absorb complextechnical information and apply this knowledge in the field.

·Excellent written & verbal communication.

·Tertiary qualifications in preferreddisciplines including biomedical engineering and science-related disciplines.

• Exposure and understanding of conventionalEP. Ability to interpret EPsignals. Exposure to 3D Mapping andcryoablation. Troubleshooting skillsand experience
