As an experienced Architect, capable of innovative architectural vision and delivery. You'll take responsibility for components of our Student Digital Experience software solution and work closely with the Product Owner to deliver solutions that wow our customers. You'll work with other members of our Engineering team to scope, architect and estimate development while getting your hands dirty writing code. You'll be able to use your .NET, React and SQL skills to design elegant and costeffective solutions.
As a leader, you'll guide and mentor a small team of Developers to solve the complex, transforming business and making life simple - by leveraging their innovation, drive and determination.
What you'll be doing…- Design, Architect and Develop SaaS-based student experience solutions, considering scalability, reliability, performance, deployment strategies, costoptimisation, compliance and security.
- Provide leadership, technical guidance and mentorship to Software Developers and other team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning
- Collaborate with other Architects, Product Owners, and software Developers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and architecture; then work to realise their delivery
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the existing TechnologyOne cloud infrastructure, platforms, and services, and identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement.
- Become the expert in your domain by coaching and mentoring peers; adhering to TechnologyOne development methodologies and aligning to the TechnologyOne culture and values and fostering a 'Can Do Culture'
- Clearly articulate technical issues to non-technical audiences through technical showcases, sharing information and educating teams
- Ensure the security and compliance of the software, implementing robust security controls, monitoring mechanisms, and disaster recovery plans.
- Proven experience designing, developing and delivering end to end applications in SaaS native platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
- Solid understanding of SaaS-native architecture patterns, microservices, serverless computing, containerization, networking, security and event driven architectures.
- Leadership Capability with an ability to build a collective sense of direction fostering a collaborative culture inspiring delivery of high quality standards of work
- Exceptional communication capability, with the ability to develop concepts logically and concisely, promoting trust & commitment through consistent open communication
- Commercial acumen, able to set goals & plans for areas of responsibility aligned with strategic direction
- A thorough understanding and application of non-functional requirements of the software including security and privacy of software
- Relevant degree, qualification or job experience within the industry.
