The Opportunity
In this key leadership position, you will play a pivotal role in the contract management of initially 2 large-scale contracts within the oil & gas sector, and continue to develop successful, long-term customer partnerships.
With operations across multiple sites and business units, you will oversee financial and operational performance, mentor and develop a team of leaders, deliver improved safety, project leadership and governance, foster community engagement and enhance client relationships.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure a best practice, integrated and learning approach is applied to the operational delivery across multiple sites and business units, to contractual and client requirements.
- A leader who listens, enables, and can mentor and develop the team by enhancing their capabilities and ensuring they are equipped to meet operational and client objectives.
- Drive contract negotiations, resolve disputes and manage contract variations to align with project and company objectives ensuring value for Cleanaway, its clients, and stakeholders.
- Project and operational governance including the preparation and presentation of monthly reports on contract performance and financial metrics to key stakeholders.
- Deliver and promote improved visible safety leadership, engaged with your teams and our customers, seeking to learn and improve as required.
- Engage with the local community, promoting positive relationships and ensuring that our operations align with community interests.
- Capability and experience to influence Cleanaway’s business growth and broader strategy and market development.
About You
- Extensive leadership experience ideally gained within high-risk industries whether Oil & Gas, Refining, or Mining. Be able to demonstrate that bring structure, discipline, and integration to your delivery.
- Ability to manage complex, large-scale contracts, including GTMS, tendering and post-award delivery, and relationship management.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a track record of successful client development
- Commercial acumen: budget management, financial reporting, and cost control.
- Experience managing and leading through teams of multi-site and client operations.
