As the area's main provider of radiology services, you will be exposed to a multitude of unique and interesting cases.With a home base of Warringal and rotating aroundthe North East region.
Reporting to theChief Technologist, in this role you will be responsible for driving high quality and efficient imaging services across a range of modalities. The role isMonday to Friday, working between7:00am- 7pm, with occasional weekend work.
This opportunity is perfect for new graduatesorexperiencedRadiographers.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing patients and operating specialised medical imaging equipment such asGeneral X-Ray and CT.
- Mammography advantageous but not essential.
- Consistently delivering high levels of patient care and service
- Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with patients, referrers, staff and managers
- Promoting and maintaining the highest quality and safety standards
Key selection criteria:
- Current relevant Radiography Radiation licence and professional registration
- Appropriate qualifications in Medical Imaging Technology/Diagnostic Medical Radiography
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of health professionals and corporate staff
