About the Role:
The Marketing, Trading and Shipping team are responsible for sales and trading of products (LNG, pipeline, gas, oil, carbon), new business origination (long term contracts) and marketing operations.

Marketing & Trading are currently seeking a Marketing Advisor to join their Perth based team.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Some of the tasks and duties associated with this role include:

  • Assist in interactions with customers, understanding marketing and customer needs.
  • Assist in pipeline management and value creation, including gas balancing and borrowing/loaning options negotiation.
  • Develop strategies and submissions for government and industry regulations and manage operational compliance requirements.
  • Conduct regular market updates on supply, demand, price, and customer contract terms to keep up to date with market requirements.
  • Assist operations team in managing day-to-day pipeline gas nominations and allocations, following allocation and curtailment rules.
  • Maintain supply and demand spreadsheets, including contract databases.

Skills & Experience:
  • 5+ years experience as a commercial and/or marketing professional in the oil & gas or energy industry
  • Bachelors degree in engineering, finance, law or economics
  • Experience working within large organisations and/or joint venture arrangements
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic environment with a variety of stakeholders
  • Highly developed organisational skills, attention to detail and time management skills
