As a growing organisation, IAP2 Australasia is seeking a Business Development Executive to support our Business Development Manager.

About the role

As a growing organisation, IAP2 Australasia is seeking a full time Business Development Executive to support the Business Development Manager to achieve inhouse training, sponsorship and advertising revenue targets. You will be able to identify new market opportunities within allocated targets and clients, manage all in-house training enquiries across allocated targets and clients, develop proposals and manage all client communications.

You will also be responsible for Key Account Management of existing and new clients and assisting the Business Development Manager with scheduling of benefits and deliverables for suppliers and sponsors.

You will be able to use various technology to assist with the management of new leads and opportunities, through to the administration of the in-house training sales pipeline.

About you

Specialist knowledge and technical skills

  • High level interpersonal, organisational, presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated experience & success in account management and business development, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Strong relationship management and experience.
  • Demonstrated high levels of personal effectiveness in terms of work attitude, style, resourcefulness and approach.
  • Excellent time management skills and high attention to detail.
  • Must be able to travel around Australia and New Zealand if required.
  • Experience in using CRM systems, Salesforce preferred and the Microsoft suite of products.

Experience/Qualifications

  • Tertiary Qualifications preferred.
  • Relevant experience in a sales, account management and B2B business development role.
