Aboutthe role

We arecurrently seeking a Billing Specialist to join our finance team inour Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney office. This role provides afantastic opportunity to work closely with the Partners and theirteams to manage and centralise billing functions. We havetransitioned systems from Elite Enterprise to Elite 3E and theBilling Specialist role will be essential in assisting teams withprocessing and finalising client bills with this newprogram.

Whatdoes the role involve?

  • Coordinating andmanaging client billing and reporting processes for practicegroups including preparing bills and billing templates forsettlement and submission.
  • Developing andmaintaining client billing guidelines and providing trainingand advice on processes.
  • Ensuringall lawyers timesheets are submitted and captured in thesystem.
  • Applyingdisbursements to matters.
  • Finalising bills andinvoices including sending to clients and uploading invoices toclients finance portals where required.
  • Openingnew matters including conflicts clearance checks and managingconfidential information.
  • Ensuringbilling workflows have appropriate documentation and approvalsin place.
  • Assisting with theprocessing and responding to requests received from the ClientAccounting inbox eg: audit reports, time transfers, manualwrite-offs and reporting.
  • Generaladministration and ad hoc reporting.

To besuccessful in this role you will have at least 5 years + experiencewith end to end billing, (ideally with Elite 3E) within in a legalor professional services environment. You will have strongorganisational and time management skills, be able to workefficiently, have the ability to maintain confidentiality and beable to use your initiative to demonstrate a highly proactiveapproach.
