UFS Healthcare is seeking a qualified and experienced Management Accountant to join our Finance Team.

  • operate Supercare Nursing Services across Victoria, providing after-hours nursing services to the communities we serve.

The role

Full Time shifts from Monday to Friday. Based at the UFS Head Office, 206 Armstrong St North, Ballarat.

The Management Accountant role is to support the Financial Services Manager in analysing financial data and management reporting to help UFS operate effectively and efficiently, along with the management of the payroll function

About you

Mandatory

  • Accounting Degree.
  • 3+ years in a Management Accounting position.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating an end-to-end payroll process including reporting, reconciling and quality control.
  • Exposure to, or understanding of, operating effective and efficient financial management systems and processes.
  • Proven ability to anticipate difficulties, resolve problems and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to contribute ideas, demonstrate initiative and manage change.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand internal control practices and operate within those guidelines.
  • Demonstrated skill in working with complex analytical models.
  • Advanced excel skills essential.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • High level of numerical and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated integrity, and commitment to the purpose and guiding principles of UFS.
  • CPA desirable but not required.
  • Previous experience with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 ERP system is preferred.
  • Previous experience with Xero Accounting Software would be an advantage.
