Operational Manager/ Head chef

You will play a crucial role in overseeing the operations and ensuring smooth processes. You will report directly to the Owner and collaborate closely with the management team to drive operational efficiency and excellence. we are looking for qualifications as a chef or pastry chef .
Responsibilities:
1. Operational Oversight:
- Direct all daily operations, including inventory management, quality control, staffing, and customer service, to ensure seamless functioning.
- Streamline processes across departments to enhance efficiency and productivity, driving toward operational excellence.
- Implement innovative strategies to optimize inventory control, minimize waste, and maximize profitability.
- Enforce rigorous quality assurance measures to uphold product standards, food safety regulations, and consistency.
- Elevate the customer experience by proactively addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and introducing initiatives for enhancement.
- Monitor and evaluate operational performance, identifying areas for enhancement to increase productivity and customer satisfaction.
2. Staff Management:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the Front Staff and Kitchen staff, ensuring efficient operations and exceptional service.
- Lead recruitment, training, and supervision of team members, fostering adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to cultivate a positive work environment and boost productivity.
- Utilize effective communication and leadership techniques to empower and motivate the team.
- Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement to drive individual and team success.
- Implement performance evaluation systems to recognize achievements and identify areas for development.
- Enforce and utilize Deputy to track your availability and accurately record your working hours.
- Collaborate in the development and management of budgets, with a focus on tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Analyze financial reports to pinpoint areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with financial protocols and regulatory requirements to uphold fiscal responsibility.
- Proactively forecast financial trends and make data-driven decisions to optimize resource allocation.
- Drive initiatives to improve profitability and drive sustainable growth while maintaining financial integrity.
4. Compliance and Vendor Relations:
- Ensure full compliance with local health and safety regulations, labor laws, and company policies to uphold a safe and legal work environment.
- Establish and nurture positive relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate favorable terms, secure competitive pricing, and ensure timely delivery.
- Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry standards to adapt operations accordingly and mitigate risks.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to verify adherence to compliance standards and address any areas of concern.
- Foster transparency and collaboration with stakeholders to promote mutual trust and uphold ethical business practices.
Responsibility and Decision Making: Make informed decisions aligning with the business's best interests, considering ethical considerations, potential risks, and long-term sustainability.
- Confidentiality and Integrity: Maintain utmost confidentiality and integrity in handling proprietary information and business strategies shared by the Owner.
- Business Growth: Identify growth opportunities and contribute innovative ideas for marketing initiatives and long-term goals to drive sustainable growth.
- Communication: Foster effective communication by providing regular updates on project status and promptly addressing any changes or delays impacting objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- 2+ years of proven experience in administrative management, preferably in the food service industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- 2+ years of proven proficiency in financial management and budgeting.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance in the food service industry.
- Proficient in using MS Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
