Cunnamulla P-12 State School are seeking applications for a Head of Department (Curriculum) to join their supportive school community on a full-time temporary basis, from 08 July 2024 until 13 December 2024 unless otherwise determined.

Founded in 1877 alongside the beautiful Warrego River, Cunnamulla P-12 State School is a rural and remote Prep to Year 12 campus located on the land of the Kunja people in the Darling Downs South West region, 9 hours drive from Brisbane.

With strong ties to the community and a rich educational history, Cunnamulla P-12 State School prioritises the teaching of reading and literacy skills whilst championing contextualised and experiential learning with real-world relevance for the students.

About the Role

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the relevant curriculum areas or whole school program to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
  • Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
  • Set high standards for student and staff performance.
