Cared is poised to become the leading care-on-demand platform connecting support workers, allied health professionals, and primary health services with individuals both in person and online. Our mission is to help people take control of their health by providing on-demand services that connect high-quality providers to clients in real-time. By ensuring that everyone can access the exact services and support they need right now, we aim to make accessing quality healthcare and support easier and faster than ever.

Role Overview:

The Head of Product at Cared will be a visionary leader responsible for product ownership and development, ensuring alignment among all stakeholders, including third-party developers.

You will take ownership of the source code, establish development protocols, and standardise processes while driving the overall product strategy. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise and a passion for healthcare technology.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and Communicate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with Cared's mission
  • Define and prioritise the product roadmap based on strategic goals, customer feedback and market demands.
  • Take ownership of the source code and ensure robust documentation and local development setup.
  • Establish and enforce development protocols, version control, access management and standardisation.
  • Oversee developments for iOS, Android and the .NET admin console.
  • Act as the primary contact for technical discussions and decisions with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute strategies to scale the platform globally, ensuring reliability, security and performance.

About you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering,Computer Science or a related field; MBA or Advanced degree preferred.
  • 10 Years experience in product management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role focused on building and scaling platforms.
  • Proven experience in the healthcare technology industry, particularly in app development and scaling to a large user base
  • Proficiency in agile mythologies and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Aha)
  • Deep technical expertise, with experience in managing source code, establishing development protocols, and understanding technical implications of product decisions
  • Proficiency with Azure DevOps and GitHub
