Croydon Tennis Centre OOSH (CTC OOSH) is growing Nestled on the Wangal Land of the Eora Nation, CTC OOSH is a vibrant hub of education and care, committed to providing high-quality services for families, children, and young people. Currently catering to up to 60 children, we offer Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care. Excitingly, we're expanding with the opening of a new Service on a nearby campus. We're seeking an experienced OSHC Operations Manager to join our team and support our multi-site operations.

Position Overview:
As the Operations Manager at CTC OOSH, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and compliant operation of our Services. From overseeing regulatory compliance to financial management and strategic planning, you'll lead our team in delivering the highest standards of care and service excellence. This brand-new position has been created to support our Service’s growth, and you'll be pivotal in establishing our new Service planned for mid-late 2024.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive quality improvement and community engagement, aligning with our vision and overall direction. This includes supporting the expansion of our Service to a new site and streamlining processes across multiple sites ensuring consistency and efficiency.
- Coordinate procedures across multiple sites including establishing safety protocols and overseeing program implementation to meet quality standards.
- Formulate and manage budgets to ensure the Service’s financial sustainability. This includes developing comprehensive budgets and closely monitoring expenses and income sources.
- Identify grant opportunities to support Service objectives, community needs and resources that benefit the children and young people who attend the Service.
- Guide the team through completing Service the self-assessment process, identify areas of quality improvement, and implement best practices that benefit the children and families who use the Service.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders. This includes building and nurturing community partnerships, leading staff meetings, and fostering collaborative forums.
- Provide mentorship and training to the leadership team, developing responsible persons, educational leaders, and Service managers.
- Utilise data analysis tools to assess key performance indicators and prepare regular reports for Management.
- Facilitate the setup of a new CTC OOSH campus located at a nearby school, ensuring all operational aspects are in place and creating an environment that is inviting, safe and engaging for children and young people.
- This role requires the successful applicant to accept in writing the Nominated Supervisor role.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Excellent understanding of Education and Care National Regulations and Law.
- In-depth knowledge of the National Quality Framework.
- Strong policy and procedure development and implementation skills.
- Experience in risk assessment, mitigation planning, and communication strategies.
- Demonstrated success in grant writing and financial management.
- Exceptional mentorship skills with the ability to develop leadership skills.
- Experience working within the Outside School Hours Care Sector in Management and Leadership positions.
- Previous experience in a similar Operations role within the Education and Care sector is highly desirable.
- Diploma or similar qualification is preferred.
