Jewish Care Victoria, is a not-for-profit organisation and is one of the largest providers of aged and community services for the Jewish Community in Victoria and has been servicing the community for 175 years.Our staff come from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds. - Supported Independent Living
- Respite
- Short Term Accommodation
The key responsibilities of this role are:
- Establish and maintain asupportive environment for people using a person-centered active supportmodel
- Facilitate and support clients in all aspects of daily living
- Promote opportunities forskill development and community access
- Contribute to the plans andoutcomes for clients, programs and activities
- Maintain effectiveinterpersonal communications with clients, colleagues, and family members
- Regularly update client reports and relevant records
- Children's holiday groups
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Certificate III in Disability with a minimum of 3 years' experience
- Certificate IV in Disability
- Experience supportingpersons with disability
- Current Victorian DriversLicense
- Proven understanding ofperson-centered approach and positive behavior supports
- Well-developed communicationand interpersonal skills
- Ability to work underpressure, work independently and part of a team
- The ability to contribute to the delivery of an outstanding customer experience
- The ability to self-manageand monitor your work schedule
- Commitment to the deliveryof timely and punctual work performance
