Purpose of the Role

The Project Manager will lead the implementation of a new Time and Attendance (T&A) system for Auto & General. Responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and executing the project to ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery. The role involves integrating the new T&A system with existing contact centre and payroll systems, overseeing requirements gathering, system design, development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.

Position Accountabilities

Project Planning and Execution

  • Develop a detailed project plan with scope, objectives, milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Perform risk assessment and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Establish project governance and communication protocols.
  • Manage project budget and resources.

System Development and Configuration

  • Oversee the T&A system's development and configuration to meet specific requirements.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and vendors for seamless integration with existing systems.

Testing and Validation

  • Conduct thorough system testing (unit, integration, and user acceptance).
  • Ensure the system meets all functional and technical requirements, including integration.

Change Management

  • Develop and implement a change management plan for the new T&A system.
  • Communicate the benefits and impact of the new system to stakeholders.
  • Address user concerns and provide ongoing support.

Post-Implementation Support

  • Monitor system performance and address issues.
  • Facilitate the transition to business-as-usual operations.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews and lessons learned sessions.
  • Ensure smooth adoption and ongoing support, including monitoring integration with other systems.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience with HR system implementation as an HR Technology Project Manager.
  • Effective stakeholder engagement at all organizational levels.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and systems, including Time & Attendance.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Experience with UKG/Kronos Time & Attendance, Genesys WFM, Aurion Payroll.
  • Strong project management skills, including use of project management tools and agile/scrum and waterfall methodologies.
  • Location – Our office is conveniently based in Toowong Village shopping centre - a city fringe location with access to retail, restaurants, various parking options and public transport.
