On Premise Specialist

Independently owned Australian Drinks Compan with an exceptional portfolio is looking for an experienced on premise specialist to join their VIC team.

Our client is one of Australia’s largest independently owned drinks companies that produces high quality and well respected products. Due to their continued growth and success, they are seeking an On Premise Business Development Executive to service Melbourne CBD and inner metro suburbs.

Reporting to the State Sales Manager you will be looking after 100% On Premise accounts within the CBD with the main focus on growth and maintaining long-term mutually beneficial relationships with your customer base, and achieving growth by sales and brand awareness.

You will have responsibility for selling their portfolio in line with annual sales budgets and stretch targets. As part of a large national team you will be supported by marketing and trade teams as well as a strong senior leadership team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop long-term, strategic relationships with customers to deliver outstanding service and support
  • Deliver to set financials and market share goals within your territory
  • Ensure compliance to venues point of sale
  • Ensure execution of the commercial, promotional & strategic plans
  • High level of customer service and attention to detail
  • Deliver brand education and training to key accounts
  • Maximising effective sponsorship and promotional opportunities
  • Recognise new customer opportunities and competitor threats
  • Ensure marketing initiatives are being delivered and maximised
  • Manage a geographical territory and journey planner
  • Effective use of internal CRM and maintain clean data
  • Use data and market insights to create growth across customers

About you:

  • Solutions-orientated mindset
  • Ideally sales or hospitality experience within the liquor/drinks industry
  • Ability to manage your time, meet deadlines and prioritise tasks
  • Self-starter, self-motivated with a hunger for success
  • Passionate about the drinks industry
  • A valid Australian driver's licence
