As a Technical specialist, you will provide CenITex and its customers with expert technical advice and knowledge within the managed Cloud platforms and Active Directory environments. The role will work and collaborate closely with Customers, Solution Designers, Architects, Technology Leads and Service Leads in the Infrastructure Services teams. On-call support is a requirement, for afterhours fault rectification, based on a rostered schedule.
- Should be able to act as a subject matter expert in Azure and/or AWS to provide deep technical expertise around design & advice to both new and existing customers.
- Applicants are required to demonstrate the ability to thoroughly comprehend customer requirements, apply architecture best practices specific to applications, and effectively navigate commercial models. Their expertise is expected to assist customers in planning and executing successful AWS or Azure cloud implementations.
- Have proven experience with Analysis, design, and support of highly complex, enterprise level Active Directory Services (Windows 2016 and above) in a hybrid on-premises and cloud hosted environment.
- Solid experience working with Azure Active Directory, IAM principles, authentication protocols and security best practices such as MFA and Conditional Access.
- Have proven experience in automation and orchestration using IaC.
- Architect level Certification in AWS and/or Azure is a plus.
- Have experience in delivering complex technical solutions, and a proven background working with ITIL aligned processes (incident, problem, change and release)
- Have excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to stay focused on completing tasks and meeting goals within a busy workspace.
