Undertake procurement and related tasks as part of the project to transition the Tasmanian Government light vehicle fleet to electric vehicles

  • Assisting a collaborative and professional team to undertake procurement processes and related activities associated with the Electric Vehicle Transition project. This includes undertaking research, drafting pre-procurement and procurement market approach documentation, participating in tender evaluations and supporting contract management activity as required;
  • Liaising with a range of internal and external stakeholders including Crown Law, agency fleet managers and property management officers; and
  • Preparing briefings, correspondence, reports, submissions and minutes of meetings as required, along with other duties as directed within the Procurement, Risk and Contract Management Branch.

About the branch

As part of the Budget and Finance Division, the Procurement, Risk and Contract Management Branch manages and provides advice in relation to the Government’s procurement policy framework. The Branch is also responsible for management and oversight of a range of whole of government goods and service common use contracts and the Tasmanian Risk Management Fund.
