A position has become available for a HR/ People and Culture Business Partner with a strong Learning and Employee Engagement background who will provide HR-related support as a Generalist and advice to a broad range of stakeholders across the business in NSW and lead Learning and Employee Engagement across the Country. This is a true partnering role with a generalist function. 

The role
Reporting through to the Head of HR, you will be responsible for but not limited to;
  • Execute HR policies across the business
  • Partner with business leaders to provide support and guidance across various matters
  • Support change initiatives with support and guidance
  • Implement Learning and engagement initiatives, programs, and processes across Australia
  • Support Employee Development Reviews
  • Act as a support to Managers by providing advice on performance-based matters coupled with the assistance of recruitment and training to upskill the workforce and ensure the right people are in the right roles
  • Work closely with Managers to review process
  • Lead and engage employees towards best practice around Workplace Safety
  • Participate in HR initiatives and projects as directed by the HR and General Manager
Candidate criteria
  • Experience in a Generalist role as a Senior Advisor or HRBP min 3 years
  • Although the position has no direct reports, you will be able to demonstrate the ability to influence decisions and actions
  • Industries employing a complement of white and blue collar workforce essential, i.e. warehousing, transport, import/export, manufacturing or construction industries
  • Sound knowledge of Awards 
  • The flexibility to travel interstate from time to time
  • Ability to work autonomously as you will be working independently to your team and the corporate head offices interstate
