About the Role
Jadestone Energy are seeking an Operations Supervisor to join the Montara Venture. This position reports to the Offshore Installation Manager and is responsible for leading the offshore Facility Operations Team, to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Montara Venture FPSO.
The main responsibilities are:
- Manage the Operations Team in compliance with the Facility Safety Case, Environmental Plan and all relevant Conventions, Acts, Regulations, Standards, Codes of Practice, industrial agreements and Company directives, policies, plans, objectives, procedures and methods.
- Supervise the continuous development, updating and implementation of relevant Safety Management System procedures, operational procedures and work instructions pertaining to operations activities, including monitoring of personnel and operations to ensure compliance.
- Facilitate incident/hazard reporting and corrective action implementation and monitoring.
- Ensure optimisation of production processes and the implementation of field short and medium term operation and maintenance plans.
- Assist the Offshore Installation Manager in the sourcing, selecting, inducting, training and assessing, developing, motivating, appraising and counselling of personnel.
- Maintain offshore crew roster for the Operations Team ensuring coverage for all roles and responsibilities.
- Assist the OIM / Operations Manager to develop and manage the Operations Department budget.
The Ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the hydrocarbon industry with focus on gas processing and offshore operations.
- Excellent leadership ability and being able to lead a change process.
- Experience of FPSO operations, storage and mooring operations.
- Hydrocarbon/FPSO industry experience with Process Management experience and/or qualification.
- Thorough understanding of business processes in planning, design and execution.
- HS&E/Emergency Response knowledge and experience.
